Built around a lake.

Mirik sits in the Darjeeling hills of West Bengal. Sumendu Lake is its visual centre, with the town, garden and pine-covered slopes gathered around the water.

Visitors come for the scenery, comfortable climate, horse riding, tea-garden drives and easy access from Siliguri and Darjeeling.

The feeling

A gentler hill break.
